Another day has dawned
And so life it still goes on
To live to love to smile
Every adult once a child
In need of love and care
From its parent who brought it here
For dad's love a child it craves
His dad in prisoned; a slave
Mom now a single parent
No funds to pay the rent
Now she too has turned to crime
Saying job's too hard to find
Grandma, bless her soul
Now play this mother's role
Heeding this infant's cry
In a world that's gone awry
Enchanted with greed and glut
Men run the World amok
Earnestly craving for vanity
They abandon their humanity
Saying he drew bad card
But his job was shipped abroad
The dilemma of my neighbour
His job exported for cheap labor
This is what I see
In the land of opportunity
How could this be you say
In the mighty U S A
Politicians they pretend
Your interest to defend
While with big business they combine
Sticking you for every dime
Saying they got your back
Sticking you through in-com tax
And to further satisfy their crave
They hit you with scratch off games
